...and left us a few treats!
At noon on Maundy Thursday, the big easter egg hunt started right here in our meeting room. Behind chair legs, inside the lantern - even on the letter "r" of our company letters - the Easter Bunny came up with some pretty good hiding spots for the colored little eggs.
Here, the last missing egg had just been discovered...
After all the hiding spots were successfully uncovered, it was finally time to eat. There was a lot of laughing, chatting and everybody had an amazing time. But to be completely honest, we all need to improve our skills at "Eiertütsche" a bit more until next year...
In case you did not know, "Eiertütschen" is a long tradition we celebrate on easter. Two competitors each hold one egg in their hand and bang it against the one of their opponent. The egg without any cracks wins the round and continues to compete against the winner of another pair of competitors. The cracked eggs are then being peeled, cut and thrown in a big salad.
Alongside the egg salad, we had a beautifully arranged meat and cheese platter with delicacies such as honey mustard, dates filled with walnuts, a dip for the cut vegetable and homemade "Zopfhäsli" (braided bread in the form of little easter bunnies).
Desert, of course, was not to be missed; everyone was well served with carrot cake and brownies (in Easter edition; each piece came with a little nougat egg!).
